While we often associate photographs of the beach with bathing suits and fun, we forget that winter can offer some amazing opportunities for landscapes and summer memories.
I explored the deserted beach in winter with its nostalgic charm in a state of subtle sadness. Almost an "ideal" world without the overcrowding we are used to during the rest of the year. Abandoned boats, closed umbrellas, blinds shut down, the parking meter out of order... I tried to capture the loneliness of the empty spaces with the fully dressed figures walking in some metaphysical place, distant and tiny, as if they belonged to another world.
Photos taken with Yashica FX3 Super 2000 on a Kodak Color plus 200.
